Aldwin's Claim is an optional quest, centered around the ownership of Kuldahar's inn.
Quick Walkthrough[]
- Talk to Amelia in the Root Cellar tavern. (possibly optional)
- Obtain Eidan's Legacy Ring from the upper level of the Evening Shade inn.
- Confront Aldwin.
Walkthrough[]
Speak with Amelia who works in the Root Cellar tavern in Kuldahar, and she mentions just how suspicious it is that Aldwin took over the Evening Shade inn after the previous owner just vanished. She goes on to say that Eidan, the previous owner, was illiterate, and also physically incapable of writing.
Enter the inn, go upstairs, and pick the lock on the locked chest in the third room, to find Eidan's Legacy Ring which proves that Aldwin is not entitled to the inn.
Go back down the stairs and confront Aldwin about this, and you have two options.
- Pressure him into confessing to the town elders. You receive 3225 experience. After this, the room rates lower by two-thirds as well.
- Blackmail him about his deception. You receive 3225 experience, and your stay at the inn will be limited to Noble rooms, at no cost.
