Auril is the neutral evil goddess of winter.
Tenets of Faith[]
She wants people to embrace the cold:
“ | Auril is the Frostmaiden, the cold breath of the north. She asks that her followers extinguish all flames, open structures to the cold, and to embrace winter... Those are the basic precepts of the faith. | ” |
— Lysan |
In return, she grants her followers unnatural resistance to cold so that they can survive in the harsh climate of the North.
Worshipers[]
People who worship Auril are called Aurilites.
While Auril is strongly disliked by most people, there are priests and secret temples dedicated to her scattered throughout the Spine of the World. Some Northerners also follow her out of fear, and offer sacrifices to her to try and appease her.
