Compared to a normal Two-Handed Sword, this deals 1 more damage, has a bonus of -1 to its THAC0, and has a 1 lower (faster) speed factor. It can hit creatures which require weapons to be of +1 enchantment (or greater) to be hit.
Additionally, this weapon has a further +2 to damage and THAC0 when attacking Skeletal Undead.
This weapon is made out of metal, and as such it cannot be used by Beast Masters.

The massive blade has changed hands frequently, as it is needed in different regions at different times.
