Shields

Shields are protective items, equipped in the off-hand character inventory slot. Typically, in addition to any unique effects, they boost the wielder's armor class, and some magical shields provide a substantial bonus. The Sword and Shield Fighting style grants characters additional Armor Class against missile weapons, while wielding a shield alongside a one-handed weapon.This category needs to be added to all pages about shields.
