Commanding Malavon's golems is an optional side-quest in Lower Dorn's Deep.
Quick walkthrough[]
- Loot the Golem Building Book on floor 2 of Marketh's Palace.
- Speak a command word in the dialog with Malavon's Simulacrum in Malavon's Dome.
Walkthrough[]
This is a hidden quest.
For it to become available, you must enter Marketh's Palace before facing Malavon, and loot the Golem Building Book from the bookshelf at (1550, 250) in Marketh's room on floor 3 of Marketh's Palace.
You can dump the book if you want; merely having picked it up once suffices.
Then once you enter Malavon's Dome and face Malavon (in the form of Malavon's Simulacrum), an extra dialog option appears that allows you to try and command Malavon's iron golems.
The dialog option that becomes available, depends on the Intelligence score of the speaking party member during that conversation (which is likely whoever first entered the line of sight of the simulacrum):
