Conlan's son is an optional quest regarding a missing child.
Quick walkthrough[]
- Talk to Conlan in his smithy in Kuldahar. (optional)
- Rescue Sheemish in level 2 of Dragon's Eye.
- Report back to Conlan.
Walkthrough[]
If you talk to Conlan inside Conlan's Smithy in Kuldahar, he tells you that his son was abducted.
Once chapter 2 takes you to Dragon's Eye, find and rescue Conlan's son, Sheemish, as follows:
On level 1 of the cave network, make sure to kill the:
On level 2, go west and south from the level's entrance, but just before the bridge (which leads to Freeing the captive villagers of level 2), turn east and follow that tunnel. As you go along this tunnel, make sure to kill the:
- three Lizard Shamans
- two Wraith Spiders.
At the end of the tunnel, talk to Sheemish (tooltip "Captive Villager") who waits there together with three other children. Provided that you have killed the six enemies mentioned above, you can tell Sheemish that the way home is clear. This nets you 24,000 exp.
Once you are back in Kuldahar, enter Conlan's Smithy again to find that his son has made it home. Talk to Sheemish there to get Conlan's Key, which lets you unlock the chest in the back of the room. This chest contains Conlan's Hammer, which you may take as reward.
