A Dagger is a fast weapon with low damage. Weapon and general stores carry daggers for around 2-3.
Description[]
“ | The typical dagger has a pointed, usually double-edged blade, as opposed to a knife, which has a single edge and is a bit shorter. | ” |
Properties[]
A standard dagger deals a base 1d4 (1-4) piercing damage, has a speed factor of 2, and a minimum strength requirement of 3EE only.
A dagger is slightly faster, lighter, less expensive, and requires less strengthEE only than the similar Short Sword, but deals less damage. Although the damage is low, a daggers fast speed factor of 2 allows a player to potentially strike an opponent first, and then retreat before being struck in return. In addition, numerous daggers with useful enchantments can be found throughout the game, including some granting additional wizard spell slots aimed at the Mage class. This weapon is wielded in one hand.
