“ | This spell brings forth a billowing cloud of acidic fog. The thick fog limits movement to 50% of a creature's current movement rate. Exposure to the fog results in increasing amounts of acid damage over time as follows:
While in the fog, creatures must save vs. Spell every round or suffer -2 to Strength and Dexterity for the duration of that round. |

- Acid damage dealt by this spell ignore Magic Resistance of target, unlike of slow and suffers effects, that don't ignore Magic Resistance of target.
- Its description puts this spell, in addition to Evocation, also into the Alteration school. This goes in line with the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition ruleset, which Icewind Dale is based on. In terms of game mechanics, however, only Evocation is regarded.
