Freeing the frost giants' slaves is an optional quest in chapter 5 of the game.

Walkthrough[]
In the back of the main cave of the Frost Giant Caves of Wyrm's Tooth, some human slaves gather around a fire. One of them is Davin.
When you talk to Davin and ask what they are doing here, he explains that the frost giants are feeding them to the wyrm Frostbite. Agree to help. Even if you have already slain the wyvern in question, you should first agree to help before announcing the completion of the task, for a higher exp reward.
Walk back to the wyrm lair near the map entrance, to find Frostbite. If you talk to him and tell him that his people-eating days must end, he turns hostile. (Or you can just force-attack him.) Kill him.
Report back to Davin to get 420,000 exp. Now he asks you to clear the way for them to escape. You have two options (you can do both):
- Option A: Kill Gorg and clear the "north cave", so the slaves can escape that way.
- Option B: Kill Joril, so that the slaves can escape through the main cave.
Gorg is the frost giant guard who stands to the right of the slave pens. Killing him does not turn anyone else hostile. The "north cave" (accessible via the tunnel north of Gorg) is filled with many creatures who attack on sight, but for this quest, you technically only have to kill Kontik there.
If you want to kill the frost giants' leader Joril, be sure to check the main quest step Getting Joril's badge first, for the dialog exp to be had with him.
Return to Davin when you have completed at least one of the two options, to get another 180,000 exp.
