Grease is a level 1 Arcane spell from the Conjuration school, that creates an area which repeatedly attempts to slow the movement of creatures entering or caught in it.

Original Game[]
Summons an area-of-effect with a radius of 5 ft, for 3 rounds + 1 round per level of the caster, in which creatures inside or entering the area make a Save vs. spell each round. Success means the creature is unaffected that round, failure slows the creature's movement speed.
Enhanced Edition[]
Summons an area-of-effect with a radius of 6 ft, for 1 turn, in which creatures inside or entering the area make a Save vs. spell each round. Success means the creature is unaffected that round, failure slows the creature's movement speed.

Starting Spells[]
- As a level 1 spell, Mages and Sorcerers are able to select this spell as one of their starting spells during Character generation
Level up[]
- At levels 3, 5, and 7, Sorcerers are able to select an additional level 1 arcane spell to add to their known spells

- Found in the Sarcophagus in Western Crypt, Vale of Shadows
- Chance of being obtained from activating Jester's Bag of Holding (one attempt per day)
