Hold Fast +3 is a magical Long sword with a +3 enchantment, that provides bonuses to Armor class and Slashing resistance, and has a chance to cause victims to be Held.
Properties[]
Compared to a normal Long Sword, this deals 3 more damage, has a bonus of -3 to THAC0, and has a 1 lower (faster) speed factor. It can hit creatures which require weapons with +1 or greater enchantment to be hit. This weapon is made out of metal, and as such it cannot be used by Beast Masters.
Additionally, this weapon:
- grants the wielder a -1 bonus to their Armor class,
- increases the wielder's Slashing resistance by +15%,
- has a 15% chance on hit to cause the victim to be Held for 1 turn, unless they successfully Save vs. Spell.
