Effects[]
This spell instantly deals 1d4 magic damage to a target, and provides the caster a 1d4 bonus to their Hit Points (which disappear after 1 turn if they put the caster's total Hit Points over their maximum). A creature struck by this draining effect receives no Saving throw, and can only avoid suffering damage through outright Magic Resistance. This spell has no effect on undead or constructs.
