Lehland is a shadowed elf and former elven merchant.
Location[]
He stands in his store, the north-west room of level 4 of the Severed Hand.
Background[]
Back when the Severed Hand was still the Hand of the Seldarine, Lehland was the proprietor of the Hand's main store.
He traded with visitors to the Hand, and sold a variety of merchandise (such clothing, ammunition, and even rugs from the far-east).
When the Hand fell to the orc and goblin horde, Lehland was turned into an undead shadowed elf, together with many others in the fortress. 
Unlike most of the others, he has mostly retained his mind, but has lost his memory of the events leading up to his death, and is unable to recognize that the Hand has fallen and he is undead. So, he continues to man his store.
Interaction[]
You can talk to him to open his store (see below), and to learn more about the Hand of the Seldarine (including its five towers).
Nothing you can say to him convinces him that he is undead and that the Hand lies in ruins.
Buy and Sell[]
He buys all common types of items except keys and armor, and pays 80% of their nominal value.
