The watchtower in Durdel Anatha is part of the fortifications of Lower Dorn's Deep in the Icewind Dale game.

In the bottom-right part of the Durdel Anatha map.
Description[]
Fortified by an outer wall, a lava moat, and a heavy iron gate, this tower allows archers stationed inside to shoot through arrowslits at approaching opponents.
While it was likely built long ago to help defend the dwarves of Dorn's Deep, it is now used by human archers aligned with Poquelin's army.
Quest content[]
Gaining entrance to the tower, and defeating commander Kelly inside, is part of the optional side-quest:
- The watchtower (80,000 exp)
The upper floor is the only place in Durdel Anatha where your party can safely rest.
