Lysan is a barmaid in Kuldahar who is more than she seems.
Location[]
Initially (before the party leaves Kuldahar for the Vale of Shadows in chapter 1), Lysan can be found inside the Root Cellar tavern in the center of town.
Background[]
She arrived in Kuldahar only a few months before the party, and now works at the Root Cellar tavern alongside Amelia and Whitcomb.
Whitcomb describes her like this:
“ | She's easy on the eyes, she is, but a little too much of winter's chill in her to *my* liking, friend. Can't say I haven't tried to thaw her out a little, but she could keep an ogre at bay with those eyes of hers. | ” |
About once a month, Lysan takes a leave of absence during which she claims to visit relatives in upper Kuldahar.
Lysan is a priestess of Auril. When she's out of town, she goes on missions for her evil goddess. Recently, she has been travelling to the Vale of Shadows and plotting to extingish the warmth of Kresselack's Tomb there.
She considers the warmth radiated by the Great Oak of Kuldahar an abomination, as well.Interaction[]
You can optionally talk to her in the tavern in Kuldahar, but she does not say much.
Trivia[]
- The game uses two separate creature files for Lysan – one for Kuldahar (where she is a civilian with no character class), and one for the later encounter (where she is a cleric and has better character stats).
