Mithral Field Plate Armor +2 is an enchanted set of plate armor. It is arguably the third best armor set, tied in all armor class values with full plate mail +1 - only suffering from being heavier and requiring one additional point of strength, tied in slashing AC with Bathed-in-Blood, and tied in piercing and missile armor class with white dragon scale armor.

Trivia[]
- No non-enchanted version of field plate exists in Icewind Dale. While field plate is its own standalone armor set in Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition, being between regular plate mail and full plate mail in armor class, cost, weight, and AC bonuses, in Icewind Dale it exists as little more than a reskin of full plate mail, possessing the same weight and armor class bonuses.
