A standard scimitar deals a base 1d8 (1-8) slashing damage, has a speed factor of 5, and a minimum strength requirement of 8EE only.
Scimitars are identical to Long Swords in regards to damage, speed factor, weight, and cost. However, scimitars have a slightly higher strength requirement to wieldEE only, and are one of the few metal-based weapons that the Druid class can wield, along with the Dagger, Spear, and Dart. This weapon is wielded in one hand.
