The Ten Towns are a confederation of ten villages in Icewind Dale.
Description[]
All ten civilized villages that are located in the Icewind Dale region have banded together and are collectively known as the Ten Towns.
The only other human inhabitants of the region are the barbarian tribes, who are usually in conflict with the Ten Towns.
Member villages[]
In the middle, not bordering a lake:
- Bryn Shander, the center of trade between the Ten Towns and the South.
North-west, by the lake Maer Dualdon:
- Bremen
- Targos, where the Icewind Dale II game starts.
- Termalaine
- Lonelywood, where the Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter expansion starts.
East, by the lake Lac Dinneshere:
- Caer-Konig
- Caer-Dineval
- Easthaven, where the Icewind Dale game starts.
South-east, by the lake Redwaters:
- Dougan's Hole
- Good Mead
Government[]
They are ruled by a council to which each village sends a representative.
During Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter, Baldemar is the representative of Lonelywood.
