Yxunomei is a demon whose vendetta is threatening Kuldahar.
Background[]
She's involved in an age-old feud against her "Old Enemy", the 
Recently, she has set up her lair in Dragon's Eye in the Spine of the World mountains, where she has allied with or subjugated
- lizard men (under the Lizard King)
- talonites (under Presio)
- yuan-ti
and is gathering an army to attack her adversary.
For this purpose, her underlings have:
- Raided the Temple of the Forgotten God and stolen the Heartstone Gem, which Yxunomei now holds on to personally.
- Abducted villagers from Kuldahar in order to turn them into yuan-ti, use them for evil rituals, or eat them.
Interaction[]
Your party fights its way through Dragon's Eye in chapter 2 in order to retrieve the Heartstone Gem, and faces Yxunomei at the very bottom, on level 5.
At the start of that level, and a few times more as you progress through it, she appears in the form of a little human girl spouting cryptic verses at you. Once you reach the end of the level, you find her in her actual demonic form. After a conversation in which she reveals a bit about her plans (depending on what you say), she and her yuan-ti guards inevitably attack you. Once she's dead, you can pick up the Heartstone Gem from her body.
Tactics[]
- Running around (preferably hasted) in circles is highly effective at evading her melee attacks.
- Alternatively, despite her massive stats skeletons still have 50% resistance to her blades.
- She also summons monsters, if one were to refrain from killing these monsters they could block her path with them and tank the considerably lesser damage from the summons instead.
